Workplace health checks for your staff

A workplace health check is a short, practical appointment that gives an employee a clear picture of their current health — without them taking half a day off to get it.

We run them as one-off wellbeing days or as an annual programme, at your premises or at one of our locations.

What a workplace health check covers

The standard staff health check includes a full blood count, liver and kidney function, a full lipid profile, HbA1c, thyroid function, vitamin D and B12, and a urinalysis. Panels can be adjusted for your workforce — see the full corporate health screening overview.

What it looks like on the day

  • Around 15 minutes per employee
  • A private room, a table and two chairs is all we need
  • Appointments booked in advance in rolling slots
  • Employees receive results in their own secure portal, typically within 24–48 hours

One-off or annual

A single wellbeing day works well as an introduction or alongside a benefits launch. An annual programme is more useful clinically, because it produces trend data for the individual rather than a single snapshot — and it gives you year-on-year aggregate reporting at an organisational level.

Team sizes and logistics

On-site sessions are most efficient from around 15 employees upward. Below that, booking staff into one of our locations or issuing home kits is usually simpler and cheaper. Larger organisations can run multiple sites or split a programme across several dates.

Getting uptake up

Uptake is the difference between a health benefit that works and one that quietly gets cancelled. What consistently helps:

  • Book during work hours, not lunch breaks — this signals the employer means it
  • Announce it twice: once at launch, once about a week before
  • Be explicit that the employer never sees individual results
  • Let staff choose their slot rather than assigning one

What staff receive

Each employee gets their own results in a secure portal with a clinician-reviewed summary, and guidance on whether anything warrants a conversation with their GP. Results belong to them, not to you.

Costs

Pricing depends on panel contents, headcount and contract type. See corporate pricing.
